German kitchens in New York

A kitchen in a New York apartment is planned around the building as much as the room. Freight elevators, work hours and alteration agreements decide how the cabinetry arrives and when we may install it.

How we work in New York

We build each run in sections sized for your service elevator and stairwell, and we prepare the insurance certificates and drawings your managing agent asks for. In townhouses we often plan the kitchen together with a pantry, a bar and library joinery on the parlor floor.

Every kitchen is planned by Tischlermeister Daniel Helmut Pinger, manufactured in Germany and installed under a master carpenter's supervision. More about our work in the United States.

  • Building

    Alteration agreement

We supply drawings, product data and certificates of insurance for the board package, so approval does not hold up production.

  • Access

    Freight elevator sizes

Tall units and panels are split into sections that fit the elevator car and are joined on site without visible seams.

  • Schedule

    Work hours

Installation is planned around the building's permitted hours, usually weekdays, and kept as short as possible.
